Not So True :(

In a world of lies and deceit ...
how can one believe what lays before their feet ?
You told ma a lot of things that were sweet to hear 
but deep down inside is it really what you feel ?


Secrets hidden , deeply within your ruthless lies
you see right through my weaknesses insecurities that try to hide . 


You brightened my days with words i though were true
yet now knowing the truth has made me feel blue . 


Like a wilting rose dying in a vase ...
you rip at my heart until it is sparse .


My emotions bottled inside
pain overflowing and drooping from the tears in my eyes . 


All I want was a friend to help me through 
I though that friend could be you ...
How was I to know it was all false and not so true ?
